I was at the grocery store a couple days ago, and I was trying to rush through while keeping my kids in line. We get over to the dairy section and this huge guy and his daughter walk up to us, and he says (insert sarcastic tone here) "Think you need some more kids dont you?" I just gave him a look that said "Who the hell are you to even ask?". Well then my four year old, who is very excited about the baby on the way, says "Yeah, and my mom's about to have baby girl in January.". The guy says "I can see that.". Then rolls his eyes and walks off. I should have asked him "You need a couple more cheeseburgers dont you." but I was so shocked at his gall that I was speechless (very unusual for me).
Why do people feel that they have the right to come up to someone else and inflict their views on them. Why would it be anyone else's business how many kids I have, as long as they are healthy, happy, and cared for? I mean I think I take good care of my kids and we don't ask anyone for handouts. The point is, if you don't have something intelligent to say don't say anything at all.

I woulda smacked the crap outta him!!! I love it when people asked me "do you KNOW where babies come from?!!?" drove me up the wall when I was pregnant with #3!
Its none of anyones buisness except yours! You take care of them thats all that matters.
Can't really tell you what I'd have done because it would be inappropriate. People are stupid. I once had a lady tell me that she was going to call the cops on my because I spanked my son for throwing cans all over the store when he was younger. I told her more power to you then asked if she had kids or only bitc***ed about them. She said she didn't have any, imagine that! Don't listen to what the stupid people say, it only matters what you think and what you are doing.

I would have been speechless too. No one has the right to randomly insult a stranger. He was clearly a d-bag with a bad attitude and nothing better to do. Forget (or some other word that starts with F)him.
Wow, that took some serious nerve!!! That's probably why his wife doesn't go out in public with him anymore cuz she's knows what an ass he is.
We get comments like that too sometimes. Like, "Oh, just couldn't stop at two, huh?" or "Please tell me you're not gonna have more".
I like to say back, "I'm not done overpopulating the earth yet" or "What? You haven't heard? Large families are the IN thing nowadays. It must be hard for you to be in the minority"
I would have reacted with some in your face nastiness. Who does he think he is? Errrr I am angry for you.

I would have looked shocked and pissed, but not thought of anything good to say til after he was gone. What an ass! I've been a little peeved lately at random strangers' comments. Different though, for me it's always from women a lot older than me. They look at me like I don't know what I'm doing with my one child and make comments. Like yesterday at the customer service counter at Kohl's we were waiting for a long time and my son's heavy and can't walk yet, so I set him on the counter to wait, he threw my keys on the floor and I was about to hold him and pick my keys up and she said (in a judgmental way, not a sweet way)... "Oh, I'll get them, I'm scared he's going to fall", Like I would drop my child, are you freakin kidding me!!!! I'm 27, my mom and many others before me had two or three kids by the time they were my age and we're still here! So, yes, I get ya on that one!!
