Next, I realize that the roof he "patched" 2 days ago is leaking again. It is leaking all over my son's brand new mattress. Not only is our roof gonna have to be replaced (this isnt the only bad spot), but Jamie's ceiling will have to be replaced because it has bowed out and has spots of mold on it. Wonder of wonders it is supposed to rain the next 3 days!!
Last but not least, my back is breaking out with pimples like crazy. I am hoping this is a side effect of pregnancy. I have never had this problem, but I guess I will be thankful that it is nearing winter, so I can stay covered up.
Alright, enough bitching. I did have some good things happen. I was a winner in a contest that Michelle @ www.theadventuresofsupermom.com was having. I won a $60 e-gift certificate to use at www.mikarose.com. I received the things I ordered yesterday, and (I think) they are cute. For that $60 I got a dress and a shirt (not bad). Thanks Supermom and MikaRose. Also, my best friend Kat found a bag full of 0-3 mo and 3-6mo clothes that she had stored when her daughter grew out of them, so that lessens the burden of trying to get clothes for the new baby. Yay!!! With Christmas coming, that was a real blessing!
OK, so I hope everyone has a wonderful day today, and I am going to make it my mission to look on the bright side of things no matter what else happens.
This is a pic of the new dress.(picture that I used is from www.mikarose.com)

Nice dress! Keep your chin up and things will get better :o)
That's such a pretty dress!! Congrats on winning the giveaway!
Sorry to hear about your hubby. Mine was the same way sometimes...he claimed he could never hear the babies when they cried in the middle of the night. So you know what I did? I would get up and grab one of the crying babies and put the baby in bed with him with a warm bottle and say, "Now can you hear him??"
But we had twins each time so I still had another baby to feed but it was SO much easier having to only feed one baby instead of two, esp in the middle of the night. Most of the time I did it by myself but there were some nights I just couldn't muster the energy!
I say, put the baby in bed with him with a warm bottle and then go lay down on the sofa in the living room!!!
Great dress! IMHO, husbands are lazy.
Cute dress!
