Updates

Just wanted to let everyone know that my friend's nephew will probably be fine. His body seems to be having some sort of reaction, and he will have to be on medication for the rest of his life. He is getting better though, so it doesn't seem to be the deadly infection they thought it was. Thankyou for all your prayers.

We've found out that we will be without a place to stay for up to 3 weeks while they do the grading and set up for our new home. They will have to put it where our old house currently sits because of where our septic tank is. Therefore, we will have to stay with my husband's grandmother during that time. This is not a bad thing, but it will be crowded because there are already 5 people living in her house. We'll have to sleep on an air mattress in her den. It's just a minor inconvenience on the road to something better, though. It's just that pregnant women and sleeping on (or getting up off of) floors don't really mix. We'll make do. I'm just so excited that we won't be dealing with this mold problem much longer. It's very hard on our allergies.

Also, I'm a little upset because after reading a post by The Crazy Baby Mama at http://www.thecrazybabymama.com/ about how the hospitals in her area won't let her 17 month old come to the hospital when she has her new baby, I checked with our hospital and they have the same policy. I know my 2 oldest are going to be so disappointed that they won't be there for the birth. My youngest has bad separation anxiety, and never stays with anyone, so it'll definitey be hard to leave him with someone. We will manage, though. I'm just a big ball of nerves about the whole thing. I'm especially worried about how I will manage to care for all of the kids after my c-section because my husband can only miss work for the day of the birth.

Ok, I hope everyone has a great Monday. I'm going to spend mine focusing on packing and cleaning.

I'm glad your friend's nephew is going to be ok! I hope the three weeks pass quickly for you. I hadn't heard about the new hospital policie until CBM's post today. I'm sorry for both of you and your little ones. It will all be ok though!

I'm relieved to hear your friend's nephew will be okay! Scary stuff!

I just read the policies of one of our local hospitals in the paper this week and they're cracking down the same way as most other hospitals. I know that has to be hard on you. Hopefully you and the baby won't be in the hospital long so you can be reunited with your family!
